The return of office Christmas parties appears to have triggered a surge in the number of cheating partners being frogmarched in for lie detector tests

But she revealed her polygraph probes are back in demand this festive season, with enquiries and bookings related to drunken flings already flooding in. "We're only really at the start of the festive season, but already I'm getting enquiries and bookings every single day from clients who suspect their partner has been unfaithful on a night out.

Ms. Devine predicted that the fallout from drunken flings and illicit affairs will keep her busy right up to the end of January, as many couples in troubled relationships aim to get through Christmas first before tackling their own issues.
