The Dutch state railway company has moved €250 million back to the Netherlands after liquidating two Irish corporate entities at the centre of a major international tax avoidance row.
Nederlandse Spoorwegen previously used two Irish firms – NS Financial Services and NS Financial Services Holdings – to hold the leases for many of the trains used on the Dutch rail network.
