Last week, the Business Post reported on issues facing Altada. Today, ChasTaylor reports on new issues at the company, including complaints about payroll issues and the difficulties faced by several businesses in securing payment from Altada.

When Niamh Parker, the co-chief executive of Altada, informed staff late last month that they were being furloughed due to financial issues at the AI company, she revealed that the firm had received a new offer of funding.

However, Parker also told employees that the term sheets offered to her and Allan Beechinor were not acceptable, as they would have required the husband and wife team to stop running the company. “We are trying to find another solution that doesn’t remove us as your leaders, because we believe that we have created something amazing together,” Parker said at the meeting, a recording of which was shared with the Business Post last week.

5,000 expected for centenary of Michael Collins' deathOver 5,000 people are expected to attend next weekend's commemoration marking the 100th anniversary of the ambush and shooting dead of General Michael Collins at Béal na Bláth in west Cork. Respect to Michael Collins and giving his life for the country he loved. Shame on FFG Old failed fogeys who continually try to drag us back 100 years to civil war politics rather than deal with the real issues we face today. WE DESERVE BETTER. WE DESERVE REAL CHANGE So the present Irish political leaders who don't respect or defend ( actually give it away to unelected globalists) the sovereignty of Ireland are commemorating the death of a man who fought and died for this sovereignty.Have these traitors no shame. These 2 are a disgrace. Collins would be turning in his grave at having these 2 parasites adoring the podium in the name of Ireland while they continue to sell Ireland down the river while the people continue to suffer, no homes, no health service. They should resign. Time to go.
