Overnight water restrictions in Cork, Donegal, Galway

.Met Éireann has said that further above average hot temperatures are expected today, with possible highs of up to 31C.

Irish Water said its working with Donegal County Council to ensure supply can keep up with demand but in order to allow reservoir levels recover restrictions are essential overnight. In Cork, the restrictions are in place for Clonakilty and Newmarket from 11pm to 7am throughout the weekend and until further notice.

He asked people to not run taps needlessly, take showers instead of baths and postpone using dishwashers and washing machines where possible.

You have the pressure reduced and the water in every county is brown so no one’s using it

Country is a joke surrounded by water it rains at least 275 days a year they even make you guilty enjoying the bit of sun we get at the moment water pressure is reduced in to house and the water coming in is brown..so u won’t use it ..face it ireland is a Kip if you’re Irish
