An Ontario judge has sentenced Jessie Allan to life in prison with no parole for 15 years for the murder of an 18-year-old in Manitouwadge in 2021.
Jessie Allen was found guilty of murder for killing 18-year-old Wayne Allen. He received a life sentence on Friday. This is the minimum prescribed sentence under the Criminal Code of Canada for first or second degree murder. The OPP said they were called to a disturbance at a Flicker Street residence in the northwestern Ontario town on Saturday, January 30, 2021.
The officers found Wayne with life threatening injuries when they arrived. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
