SaltWire's Atlantic regional weather forecast for November 3, 2023 | SaltWireThe Halifax Mooseheads centre is first in team scoring with 22 points in 14 games, putting him in a tie for third in the QMJHL scoring race. The pace of his production is an increase from last season when he posted 75 points in 68 games but there are also subtle differences in how he's getting his goals and assists as a third-year player.

"There are a lot of young, talented guys on this team and it's games now so they're adjusted to the speed and pace of the game but I think they'll see after Christmas and in the playoffs how much more competitive it gets. When you play those teams that are trying to win a championship, it goes to another level. I just want to help those guys through that and make our team the best possible.

"I think I've always been good at both ends of the ice so, for me, I put a lot of effort and pride into blocking shots or doing little defensive details that help the team win," he said."And offensively, I think when you play the right way points and opportunities come by itself. I just want to keep playing the same way I have since I was young and they brought me here."
