"There are a lot of young, talented guys on this team and it's games now so they're adjusted to the speed and pace of the game but I think they'll see after Christmas and in the playoffs how much more competitive it gets. When you play those teams that are trying to win a championship, it goes to another level. I just want to help those guys through that and make our team the best possible.
"I think I've always been good at both ends of the ice so, for me, I put a lot of effort and pride into blocking shots or doing little defensive details that help the team win," he said."And offensively, I think when you play the right way points and opportunities come by itself. I just want to keep playing the same way I have since I was young and they brought me here."
