Toronto police say they received reports of someone who seemed injured, lying on the ground outside in the residential neighbourhood. When officers arrived, they found a man who appeared to have been shot. The victim was rushed by paramedics to hospital by emergency run. Police have not released an update on his condition.
Investigators remain on scene Monday morning in front of a home on Avenue Road south of College View Avenue. Toronto police constable David Hopkinson tells the Star they don’t have any conclusive updates as yet, and we “don’t know if this is accidental, misadventure, self-harm or criminal” in nature.
