They could easily have said ‘because we budgeted that $1.3 billion, we’re going to invest it anyway’ in better ventilation or more teachers to shrink class sizes or bring back optional Grade 13. We’re making a different choice,” said Del Duca. “I was elected in September 2012, and the Northlander decision came down before that.
