French Prime Minister Élisabeth Borne says her country is facing the 'most severe drought' ever recorded and announced the activation of a government crisis unit.

Weather forecasts suggest that the heat, which increases evaporation and water needs, could continue for the next 15 days, possibly making the situation even more worrying, the statement stressed.

It will also monitor the impact of the drought on France's energy production, transport infrastructure and agriculture. The minister for ecological transition, Christophe Béchu, said during a visit to southeastern France that more than 100 municipalities are not able to provide drinking water to the tap anymore and need to get supplied by truck.

Those solar panels and windmills will be working overtime to meet the a/c grid demand lol

Government crisis unit... yeah get fooked!

That’s normal summer day in Ottawa except for this year which has been on the cool side. Just a few days here and there with warm temperatures

That transfer of wealth, ie: Paris Climate accord is working

At least France isn't afraid of nuclear power, or recycling used nuclear materials, and therefore isn't entirely and shamefully dumb like the rest of the West.

Worse then 1788 which helped spur the French Revolution? Too bad they weren’t driving EVs and banning food back then, they wouldn’t be in the mess they are in today.

I say enjoy it while you can. Winter is right around the corner, maybe.... Anyone who believes this is a human caused event is oblivious to the cycles of our solar system and it's impacts on our climate. Do some research. The climate change narrative is a scam by the WEF & UN.

Maybe if they had spent all that energy working on the climate crisis instead of looting Africa 🤷🏾‍♂️

Only the weak think this is because of climate change 🤣
