Woolworths Urges Governments to Facilitate Freight Movement in National Emergencies

Qantas hit out at state border closures, saying they were disproportionate to the risk of catching the virus and resulted in unintended consequences.Qantas chief health and safety officer Ian Hosegood told the inquiry closing Australia’s international border was “unnecessarily destructive to businesses and the community, and was directly contrary to the World Health Organisation’s advice against ongoing travel bans”.
