Police were called to the area near Sandy Point Quarry off Heathcote Road at Menai, in the Sutherland Shire, after a member of the public found the body just before 5.15pm on Wednesday.The woman is yet to be formally identified. She is believed to have been aged in her 30s.
Sutherland Shire Police Area Command has established a crime scene at which a forensic examination is continuing.NSW Police said the woman's death had been deemed to be suspicious.Detectives, assisted by the State Crime Command’s homicide squad, have commenced an investigation.
