A car was observed driving erratically on the Princes Freeway about 1pm on Thursday, Victoria Police said.Police allege the car crashed into a barrier on Forsyth Road in Point Cook shortly afterwards.The male driver, 35, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and is under police guard.
Police are investigating the incident and are calling on witnesses with further information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
