When he heard he was the first Roosters coach to crack the double century, his first thoughts were with both the players and staff that made his success-filled time at the club possible."Really proud to be here at the Roosters and there a lot of players and staff that have been here along this ride that have made the time special. It’s not going to stop any time soon. So we just keep forging forward," Robinson said on Friday morning.
Trent Robinson has paid tribute to players and staff at the Roosters ahead of his 200th match in charge of the premiers. The milestone comes as Robinson starts to re-emerge from the worst injury toll the club has seen during his time in charge. All nine of those players would likely feature in Robinson's best 17 but the Roosters coach refuses to make that even a hint of an excuse for the recent dip in the club's typically consistent form.
"For some of the young guys bringing some good energy you want to have a mix of both and we’ve been able to do that this week."The rising star was dropped a fortnight ago and Robinson has liked what he has seen from the 21-year-old since receiving the disappointing news.
samphillips06 Ahh the Sydney Pariahs, don't you just love them?
samphillips06 With a little help from the NRL 'elastic' salary cap. Not to mention very dubious on field decisions!! 2020 season shaping up to be much the same!!
