Keary re-signs with Roosters until end of 2024

Premiership-winning five-eighth Luke Keary looks set to finish his NRL career in red, white and blue after signing a three-year contract extension with the Sydney Roosters on Thursday.

The other Roosters locked in to long-term deals are Boyd Cordner, Jared Waerea-Hargreaves and Victor Radley, who are all signed until the end of 2023. He was a key member of the club’s 2018 and 2019 premiership-winning sides after landing his first title at Souths in 2014.

Here’s another example of how the Roosters control the media...not one mention from any news outlet about how much they signed him for, yet when Latrell Mitchell wouldn’t sign, everything gets leaked and the media then turned against him making him look like a fool..

I know there will be all the salary cap jokes but I genuinely hope he’s getting paid more money because he was seriously underpaid for a 3x premiership and Australian five-eighth, he was getting 700k compared to Milford, Taylor, Morgo & Hunt
