When asked about alleged Chinese interference in the political office of a Labor MP, the Prime Minister said only that “the need to take action is necessary and the government is absolutely determined to ensure that nobody interferes with Australia's activities.

" The Australian Federal Police this morning raided the Sydney home of NSW Labor MP Shaoquett Moselmane, including a number of his vehicles, and is now attempting to raid his parliamentary office. "We won't cop anyone coming and seeking to interfere in our political system, in our energy sector, in any area of perceived area of opportunity for an outside actor,” he said.
