Sky News Business Reporter Edward Boyd says “things are getting worse in our economy” as Australia faces a rise in the wage price index to 2.4 per cent.

The Australian Bureau of Statistics released key data which shows the wage price index rose 0.7 per cent for the March quarter and 2.

4 per cent for annual increase.“It’s slightly weaker than expected wage-growth numbers for our economy,” he told Sky News Australia.“Things are getting worse in our economy.”
