Western Australia will relax its border restrictions with Queensland and Victoria from next week but current restrictions for NSW will remain in place | MartaPascual3

Western Australia will relax its border restrictions with Queensland and Victoria from next week after both states managed to “wipe out” COVID-19 in the community.

Premier Mark McGowan said recent arrivals from Queensland and Victoria who were currently isolating would be allowed to leave their location when their state transitioned to ‘very low risk’.Other jurisdictions currently in the ‘very low risk’ category include the Australian CapitalPeople travelling to Perth Airport will need to complete a G2G pass declaration, have no COVID-19 symptoms, and accept a temperature and COVID-19 test upon arrival at the airport if required.

The Premier has previously stated he would not hesitate to put stricter border controls in place if outbreaks appeared in other jurisdictions. There are currently seven active cases of the new overseas strains of the virus in Perth hotel quarantine, six from the UK variant and one from the South African strain.

MartaPascual3 Premiers want you to travel to their state not game because they too unpredictable over lockdowns

MartaPascual3 Glad Bags insists in NSW being the biggest importer of the virus. At present non citizens are being flown in to work here at nursing homes and possibly other areas.

MartaPascual3 This guy is just a premier and loving his time in the spotlight way too much. Needs an uppercut for his performance and pathetic attitude

MartaPascual3 The only science he is basing his border decisions on is political science. We should isolate hotspots not entire states.

MartaPascual3 So everyone don’t even consider going to WA until after Marks election.

MartaPascual3 Smart move. A lot of Covid rambos in NSW.

MartaPascual3 Mark doesn't trust goldstandardgladys - for good reason

MartaPascual3 Isn’t there an election soon..... next he will be asking the federal government for handouts to the WA tourism sector....

MartaPascual3 Bloody labor premiers hating liberal sTates. Let’s boycott them Nd spend our money holidaying oversees

MartaPascual3 No problem as long as no more job keeper.

MartaPascual3 Meh! It’s too expensive to fly to WA anyway!

MartaPascual3 McGowan made it much easier to plan for our next holiday ... definitely not WA!!!

MartaPascual3 Western where? Oh yeah, I forgot about them. Aren't they a seperate country yet?

MartaPascual3 Could be a good thing? We are pretty lax in NSW. Sewerage tests still record Covid in areas with persistently low testing rates. Glads can spin it however she wants. The SHIT don’t lie!

MartaPascual3 One word: good

MartaPascual3 That MarkMcGowanMP is one petty Premier .

MartaPascual3 Hmmmm, I wonder why? Could it be NSW is LNP and highly successful . Whereas Qld and Vic are failed ALP and pro CCP jurisdictions. Just surmising.

MartaPascual3 It's a nice place Perth but they should bury their dead.

MartaPascual3 Labor government, right!?!?

MartaPascual3 Nobody is going to bother traveling now - we’re all over this, at a moment’s notice, border shutting 💩

MartaPascual3 A political vendetta against GladysB by the demagogue lightweight from WA MarkMcGowanMP who IMO puts his personal animosity over the welfare and well being of WA residents. And the poor sods will re-elect him.

MartaPascual3 Pure politics.

MartaPascual3 Effective supplements to take when you suspect you have COVID-19 to avoid any complications

WA may as well be another country for the next 2-3 years So what? It will probably be back up before the end of the week why rush? or is there an election looming for 6th best economy in australia?

WA opens borders to Victoria and QueenslandWA Premier Mark McGowan said 'pending no further outbreaks', QLD and Victoria would transition to 'very low risk' next week. 9News WA announces a relaxation of its strict border restrictions: Fair enough. You will be rewarded for your patience and your caution. It's funny, but people actually like feeling that their leaders have their health best interests in mind, not their free market ideology or economic interests. Weird but true Until next community case and border gets shut again. No way I’d plan a trip to WA anytime soon The state that is now performing “6th best” in Australia 😂 says a lot about WA as a state when no one gives a shit they can’t travel there.

WA to ease border restrictions to Queensland, Victoria | Sky News AustraliaWA Premier Mark McGowan has announced border restrictions would be eased for Australia's eastern states following no cases of community transition in Queensland, Victorian, and New South Wales.\n\nMr McGowan said from 12:01 AM on February 1, Queensland would move to the state's Very Low-Risk category allowing residents to enter the state without the need to quarantine, while Victoria would move to the same category on February 5.\n\nNew South Wales, however, would remain in the Low-Risk category but would be required to reach 28 days of no community transmission before moving to Very Low Risk.\n\nNSW residents would be permitted to enter WA but would be required to self-isolate for 14 days and be tested.\n\n Someone typed that headline a bit too quickly?! No no no, close the border!!!! This gives the wrong impression that WA wants to be apart of Australia. Until you’re on a flight and unbeknown to you there’s a case and you land to a 14 day HQ surprise. Stick that up your arse WA. I’ll holiday in a state with a sane Premier.
