abc.net.au/news/wa-police-investigate-fatal-shooting-gnangara/101489004WA Police are urging people in the northern Perth suburb of Gnangara to be "vigilant" after a suspected fatal shooting.

In a statement, police would only confirm investigations are ongoing at an address in the suburb after reports of a "firearm incident". "Around 4pm this afternoon, a man in his 30s was located deceased, with injuries consistent with a firearm," a spokesperson said. "We urge anyone in the area to remain vigilant, and if anyone sights any person, or vehicle, acting in a suspicious manner, to contact police immediately."

There was a large police presence on Sydney Road, with roadblocks in place at the intersection with Lakelands Drive.

‘Free speech protection racket’: NSW Police send Nigel Farage $3000 bill for ‘security’Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage says the New South Wales police sent him a bill for a speaking event he is hosting in Sydney. “A ticketed event on private premises and yet the New South Wales Police see fit to send a bill for $3000 to police the event,” he told Sky News host Paul Murray. Mr Farage said the police were conducting a “free speech protection racket” as, even though the fee had been paid, he was warned if the contract was not signed the event would be cancelled. Private security? Perhaps he should have read the terms and conditions. Nigel F is utter noob.
