Police seize 59 kilograms of methamphetamine from a South Lake home south of Perth with an estimated value of $59 million, as investigations into a nationwide organised crime syndicate continue.

West Australian police have seized 59 kilograms of methamphetamine and arrested five men following three raids across Perth.Five men were arrested by police and have faced courtPolice believe the men — all aged between 28 and 45 — are part of an organised crime syndicate and were intending to sell the drugs in WA.

All five are charged with a number of drug possession and trafficking offences and are expected to face court next week. This means WA Police has now seized the equivalent of three million hits of methamphetamine in the last 10 months, with this single bust making up a significant portion.
