With only a few days left of pre-polling before the November 3 United States presidential election, many postal ballots requested by voters have not yet been sent in, indicating a drop in confidence in the postal system.

Voters who initially opted to vote via mail revealed they instead chose to vote in person to ensure their vote

was received. About 90 million votes have already been cast, without about 30 million postal ballots still unreceived.
