Vaccination levels, quarantine facilities will determine Victorian response to COVID outbreaks | Sky News AustraliaVictoria Acting Premier James Merlino says the government’s response to future COVID-19 outbreaks in the state will be determined by public vaccination levels and the construction of more purpose-built quarantine facilities. \n\nDespite recording four new cases overnight, health authorities confirmed the state is still on track for an easing of restrictions at midnight on Thursday with the exception that masks will be required in all outdoor settings. \n\nAsked if Victorians would be faced with a series of continuing lockdowns in the future, Mr Merlino said a highly vaccinated population would bring “more comfort” to public health in responding to outbreaks.\n\n“We are not out of this pandemic until we are in a position where we’ve successfully rolled out the Commonwealth’s vaccine program, and we have purpose-built quarantine facilities to deal with our highest risk individuals,” he told reporters.\n\n“The more people you get vaccinated, the more comfort public health have in the advice that they give to government, in terms of how we respond to an outbreak.\n\n“If we are in a position now where the population was vaccinated at a level where we should be … if we had purpose-built facilities, then we may well not have the public health advice in terms of the lockdown we are just moving out of as of midnight tonight.”\n AND there you have it! Put it on the citizens & the FEDS to save Victoria. uselessLABORuseless Labor are you using blackmail again for a push to vaccinate the public for a ‘non mandatory’ vaccine!!!!! Why were vaccinated people in lockdown then?

Dr Anthony Fauci has been ‘found out on a million fronts’ | Sky News AustraliaAmerica’s most senior infectious disease expert Dr Anthony Fauci has now been “found out on a million fronts,” according to Sky News host Alan Jones.\n\n“He (Fauci) was told early, way back in February 2020, that there was fairly good evidence that this virus had been engineered,” Mr Jones said.\n\n“Funds made available by the agency which Fauci heads … to the tune of $600,000 went to this Wuhan Institute of Virology.\n\n“This is the mob, remember, involved in gain-of-function research.”\n\nMr Jones questioned why Fauci would continue to argue coronavirus was transmitted from an animal to humans “in spite of advice to the contrary”.\n\n“It is only now that the emails have been leaked that he has had to admit that he is not convinced that the virus developed naturally,” he said.\n\n“The truth in all this from day one has not been shared with us.\n\n“There can be no greater contempt for the people than to deny the truth.”\n What, like the time Alan wrote love letters to his male students? No he hasn't, and he especially hasn't been 'found out' in a London mens room. Herbert says what..

Japan shows it’s a ‘strong ally’ of Australia by supporting pushback against China | Sky News AustraliaSky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood says Japan is showing it is a “strong ally” of Australia by supporting pushback against China, particularly for it’s bans on Australian goods. \n\nPrime Minister Scott Morrison has always said China’s bans on Australian goods should be adjudicated within the World Trade Organisation and will have the chance to make his case at the G7 summit, according to Mr Greenwood. \n\n“He’s certainly assisted and aided in this by not only the United States … but also by Japan, again giving assistance to Australia and saying … there’s got to be pushback against China, against its taking over of islands and parts of the South China Sea,” he said. \n\n“But also, when it comes to dealing with trade with Australia. \n\n“Japan, by doing this, clearly again is showing itself to be a strong ally of Australia right now and this is key if Australia is to get itself back on track with China … in terms of trade”. \n Ross_Greenwood More MurdochGutterMedia crap! 💩 Ross_Greenwood Did Biden know he was in the video conference? China criticism proves Australia and Japan are a 'united front' | Sky News AustraliaWest Australian Political Journalist Sarah Ison says Australia and Japan’s joint statement in opposition to China’s coercive behaviour presents a “united front” ahead of the G7 summit. \n\nThe joint statement - which comes after two hours of virtual meetings between Australia’s Foreign Affairs Minister Marise Payne, Defence Minister Peter Dutton and their Japanese counterparts - labelled China’s economic behaviour as undermining “the rules-based international system”.\n\nMs Ison says the declaration was “a really pointed statement” against Beijing.\n\n“It was very much the two countries coming together and presenting something of a united front in this statement and it no doubt has already gained criticism from China,” she told Sky News.\n\n“We’ve had a lot of comments and the confirmation that the geo-strategic competition that we’re facing right now will be discussed and that’s code for China’s rise and the competition particularly with the United States.\n\n“Last year Australia had a really tough year with China … and the world was really watching on with apprehension and a lot of worry about what is being deemed as economic coercion, so I think those discussions about where to from here will be had and will be had on the side-lines of the G7.”\n 😂😂😂Your leaders are chosen by American.

The enemy can ‘dictate terms’ if Australia swallows ‘net-zero nonsense’: Alan Jones | Sky News AustraliaSky News host Alan Jones says Australia will never be able to “withstand the forces of oppression” if it is economically weak.\n\nHis comments come after Prime Minister Scott Morrison delivered a speech in Perth to the USAsia Centre, urging liberal democracies around the world to reinforce a global order which favours freedom.\n\n“The Prime Minister is off next week to Cornwall in England for a G7 summit,” Mr Jones said.\n\n“His sentiments today are most laudable and very thoughtful when he said our strategic environment has changed significantly over recent years.”\n\nMr Jones noted however, Australia will not be able to “withstand the forces of oppression” with a weak economy.\n\n“Apart from manpower and innovative ideas, the one component central to economic strength is energy,” he said.\n\n“Do our opponents want us to be energy weak and force us to swallow this net-zero carbon dioxide emissions nonsense when we could and should be the energy superpower of the world?\n\n“Put simply, without energy supplies, we are not worth two bob and the enemy can dictate terms.”\n Who says he says that? We must stop China
