Melbourne is set to come out of lockdown 11:59pm Thursday, with the state recording four new coronavirus cases overnight.
“This is costing hundreds of millions every day,” Mr Smith told Sky News host Chris Kenny. “There is no reason why this lockdown couldn’t have ended at 11:59pm last night.”
