Victorians are finding themselves in the slow lane this summer as thousands of 40-kilometre-per-hour speed zones are established in many urban areas. There are now more than 30,000 road segments with the limit, just 2,000 short of the number of 60-kilometre-per-hour zones.

Over the last couple of years I have maintained that anyone advocating lockdowns, et al, should advocate for 20kmph speed limits on all roads. I'm glad to see they're taking steps to put their money where their mouth is down south.
