Putting on and taking off personal protective equipment properly involves a specific sequence that's easy to mess up.
One competition for the best PPE jingle later Dr Papson created two catchy videos, detailing the correct ways to put on and take off PPE.They've been on the doctor's YouTube channel since March, but the "Put on PPE" banger has taken off after being uploaded to the Royal Melbourne Hospital's TikTok account late last week.
The emergency physician said it was easy to make a mistake when taking off PPE, and the song had even helped him remember the next steps in the process.More than 1,700 healthcare workers in Victoria have been infected with coronavirus since the pandemic began, and nearly 1,000 of those cases are currently active cases.
Dr Papson said wearing full PPE meant health workers could not interact the way they normally would with patients."And as people get older or confused or more scared, it's pretty frightening — it's like a sci-fi movie the way we look in this stuff.
FrontlineDoctors FRONTLINE HealthCareHeroes should wear N95 masks and sheld COVID19Vic Thank you for all the hard work during the unprecedented time
These moron doctors should stop being propagandists.
Would be nice to see the full Wuhan if we’re really looking toprotect healthcare staff
this is good and funny but when a nurse of doctor puts on his/her PPE, someone needs to assist them to make sure all gaps are blocked.
Poor TikTok. Desperate for some good publicly. You could have just said social media.
America and countries like India have banned tik tok as it gives people the power to express themselves and even against the government..as the Australian government never gave media freedom won't be far from banning it too..lol.. the security reason is all bullshit comparing FB
Fact check this please ...
What's happening with the Ruby Princess? Is the government giving full cooperation? If not, then why aren't we hearing about it 30 times each day?
