The number of coronavirus cases in Victorian health workers has more than doubled in the past two weeks with authorities blaming cheap personal protective equipment and a lack of standard protocols for the spike.

A recent survey found 20 per cent of doctors and nurses have limited or no access to PPE such as face masks, while one in five doctors in public hospital said they had to source their own.

The results prompted criticism from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians who said the lack of freely available PPE was not good enough and of significant concern. Nurses from Western Australia were also set to arrive in Victoria this week to support the health system after its deadliest day on Sunday which saw 17 coronavirus deaths and 394 new infections. Why are you spreading lies regarding PPE for frontline workers when it’s the lack of training available to the aged care system via a failed federal government response. liesbeforefacts auspol

How many normally get the flu each year anyway working in health care? I bet a lot would!

If there is a shortage in some hospitals, maybe it is an administration problem with their own in house distribution. There are warehouses full of them at the airport moving in and out daily.

You will test positive if you are under stress, masks cause stress to lungs ...obviously 🤷

All sources from China.

Who conducted the survey? How many were surveyed and where do they work? Who from RACS and why is there no official comment with a name? I call bollocks, AGAIN. If any of this were true sky would have no problem getting an official comment from a hospital head!

When is Andrew Bolt and Alan Jones heading in to do a shift? They reckon it’s just a flu......

How you have a conscious is beyond me

Double the fear mongering + double the fear + double the tests = SPIKE IN POSITIVE NUMBERS So what, the recovery rate is phenomenal, report those numbers!

And the excuses continues Time Is Up OPEN The Dam Country Up Seriously We Know What You Are Up Too And Censorship Will Not Stop The Truth 😉👊

WHY, Because of Labor Andrews Govt Stuff ups

you have to wonder how many of the MSM and politicians invested into PPE im thinking by the way the way they are pushing the PPE it must be a quite a bit of money, for its all about the money they will be making by convincing us to keep buying it

More fake news to scare the masses, FEAR is a powerful drug and people you need to realise this, STOP listening to main streem news it will kill you before the fake bug will.

hydroxychloriquineworks just saying. 🙄 ONLY those who are stuck in their heads, believe this crap, fake and fony BS. The MSM will be held accountable and will go down for spreading fear, whilst the Cure is out there.

Is this for real if so it’s a non apology.

Murdoch propaganda 🤡 IStandWithDan

Is there a single thing the hapless duo of DanielAndrewsMP and Jenny Mikakos can get right? yeahnah ResignJennyMikakos DismissDan

PPE should be made in Australia. I think most of the PPE are made in China. They are inferior in quality. Besides, the relationship with China is not that good. They may cut the supply and starve us

More lies from the media terrorists

If health workers in gloves, masks, face shields are contracting the virus then why are we wearing a g-string equivalent?

geoffrey_payne drvyom Is this true?

If they won’t use hydroxychloroquine then don’t expect me to care to much.

geoffrey_payne What! This is a disgrace. They should just walk off the job.

'Everybody in the world is after this': Andrews adamant Victoria has 'adequate' PPEVictoria has '19 million surgical masks' in reserve, Premier Daniel Andrews says, adding sourcing PPE supplies was 'very challenging' because 'everybody in the world is after this at the same time'. Rubbish No, no they are not. * London* 💁‍♂️ KN95 masks should be mandatory if only they sourced them. I prefer all medical staff to be in full body suits when dealing with COVID-19 patients. The fact so many medical staff are getting infected is proof it is required.

It talks about Davos and meetings that have been held there about a World Economic Forum. They are speaking about all the things they are doing now to bring about the Great Reset.

Doctors, patients should be free to decide on whether to take hydroxychloroquine | Sky News AustraliaDoctors and patients should be free to decide for themselves whether to take hydroxychloroquine as a possible treatment for COVID-19, according to Sky News host Rowan Dean.\n\nThe drug has been the source of international scrutiny after US President Donald Trump said it could be a 'game changer' and confirmed he is taking it as a way to ward off the virus.\n\nMr Dean says 68 studies around the world, with 41 of those peer-reviewed, argue hydroxychloroquine is an effective drug to combat the novel coronavirus if taken early.\n\nAn Oxford University-led trial into the drug told the BBC last week the drug may be beneficial in preventing COVID-19.\n\n“We know now that it doesn't work in treatment of hospitalised patients,' Professor Nick White said. \n\n'But it still is a medicine that may prove beneficial in preventing Covid-19.'\n\nHowever, some medical bodies, including The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, have urged patients to steer clear of taking the drug unless they are part of randomised controlled trials.\n\n“What do we have to lose if we embrace such treatments?” Mr Dean asked.\n\n “If we know they are safe, nothing. Millions of Australians spend a fortune on alternative medicines, natural treatments and homeopathic cures that may or may not actually be doing any good, but we don't ban them unless they are proven to be dangerous.\n\n“We rely on individuals to make their own informed choices, in consultation with their own doctors, nutritionists or whoever. That's called living in a free society.”\n rowandean rowandean That poor bastard dean is not right in the head rowandean How about morphine to numb your pain from the virus? How about other narcotics and medically approved, but still addictive or dangerous drugs? This is slippery slope that wouldn't end well for everyone.

Rowan Dean (certifiable loon) finds yet another guy whose recommendations have been rejected by the government. For all we know Dean found this guy in a gutter (a regular Dean hangout) or at a Pete Evans love in. - the home of pure unadulterated crap Hydroxychloroquine Should Be Available Over The Counter Give he has credibility, why wouldn’t the government take a close look at it !!!
