Joe Biden just turned up the heat in the debate, telling millions of Americans they should not vote for a man who has allegedly molested a woman and had sex with a porn star. Biden asked Donald Trump how many “billions of dollars in civil penalties do you have?” referring to a case involving writer E Jean Carroll. Trump has been forced to pay more than $US83 million to the writer in a defamation case after he called her a liar for accusing him of sexually assaulting her.
“There’s only one person that’s a convicted felon and I’m looking at him right now,” Biden said at the lectern. Biden added that Trump has the “morals of an alley cat” in reference to the alleged relationship with the former adult film star Stormy Daniels. Trump shot back at Biden, again denying any wrongdoing in the New York case and claiming he was the victim of political persecution. “I didn’t have sex with a porn star,” the former president said.
