The United States government is set to withdraw security enforcement agents from Portland after an agreement was reached with Oregon officials to do so as long as federal properties, such as the courthouse, were secured.

Troops were deployed to the city in response to weeks of ongoing anti-racism protests sparked by the death of George Floyd in police custody two months ago.

President Donald Trump confirmed a deal was struck with Oregon officials but warned “if they don’t secure their city soon we have no choice, we’re going to have to go in and clean it out". Image: AP

Looks one of those usual situations where Trump made thing worse and expected his solution to fix everything. When job done take the credit....not this time. OR Deployed elsewhere or maybe too expensive? A large number of law enforcement people away from home is expensive.

Yeah right. Your next story. Courthouse burnt to the Ground. Oh that’s right SILLY ME. YOU’LL IGNORE IT.

In a way I an glad, now America will see exactly what they can expect if they vote Democrat

The US Marshalls protect Federal buildings, and they remain. In addition, State Police from Oregon will replace the Marshalls, ATF, FBI, and DEA, who came from out of state.

Which means they won't be leaving.
