Queensland Chief Health Officer Dr Jeannette Young has revealed the new local COVID-19 case on the Gold Coast"is so sick" authorities are struggling to communicate with him.
She said Queensland Health are working with ride-share company Uber to track down any possible passengers as well as venues he may have visited. She urged anyone with symptoms who has been in the Broadbeach area to come forward for testing urgently. "I need you to use the QR code. This gentleman hasn't used his since the start of September. It is hard to work out where he has been in the community. It is really important, please use the QR code," she said.
