Former security official Viktor Yahun says Ukraine’s SBU agency has long been overly close to Russia’s FSB

The arrest of a high-ranking Ukrainian intelligence agent accused of spying forhas highlighted the urgent need for a cleanout of the country’s key security service, a former deputy head of the agency has said.

A photo issued alongside the official statement showed sim cards issued by Russian mobile carriers, bundles of foreign currency, a knuckle duster, two knives and a Russian language guide to learning English. Following Russia’s invasion on 24 February last year, more than 60 members of the SBU and the prosecutor general’s office had remained in occupied territory and collaborated with the Russian forces, highlighting the scale of the infiltration of Ukrainian law enforcement by the Kremlin.Photograph: SBU

Yahun said: “Kulinich and Naumov were at the top of the ranks and they had access to the most secret of information.”As late as 2010, Yahun said the SBU had internally celebrated KGB Day, marking the establishment of the communist-era Russian secret service, and there remained pro-Russian agents through the ranks of the service.

'Frustrated' advocates say Alice Springs response ignores repeated calls for needs-based domestic violence fundingThe federal government is still resisting calls for needs-based funding for domestic violence services in the Northern Territory, despite citing concerns about women's safety as a basis for emergency alcohol restrictions. My Irish ancestors were starved/persecuted out of their home by the British. My mother was orphaned in WWII. If I quit work, drank daily & beat my family, nobody would excuse my actions because of my family’s past but we apply the soft bigotry of low expectations to Aboriginals. How about arresting the violent perpetrators rather than leaving to bash each other up in the left’s cultural petting zoo? Where is all the current funding going? $30 + bill per year and that’s not enough?

Former US vice president caught with classified documentsFormer United States vice president Mike Pence has been forced to retract previous denials of processing sensitive files as he turned over two boxes of classified information located last week. I bet the Pelosi Ponderosa has been busy shredding evidence before their is a knock on the door. That would have been my first port of call. The views expressed in my tweets are my own and do not necessarily reflect the views of any other person or organization. Haha now all ex officials are probably going to hire firms to search for files. Why is this so surprising? Have you never gone through your old work soace and found property of your ex employer? Need to check Obama’s property now, you never know what you will find! Lol!
