Retiring UFC fighter Conor McGregor is reportedly being investigated by Irish police for an alleged sexual assault that occurred in Ireland last year.the New York TimesNo charges have been laid by Irish police and the existence of an investigation does not imply Mr McGregor has committed a crime.

Karen Kessler, a PR representative for Mr McGregor, told 9news.com.au the allegations were completely false. “The assumption that the Conor retirement announcement today is related to this rumor is absolutely false.“Should Conor fight in the future it must be in an environment where fighters are respected for their value, their skill, their hard work and their dedication to the sport.”
