The driver who was in a hire car with Uber signage in the rear window was parked on the edge of the EB M56 airport spur in Cheshire, in north west England, on Sunday night.
When Motorway Police approached the driver, they found he was “watching pornographic material on mobile phone,” according to theThe driver was handed a Traffic Offence Report for “h/s offences”. He was also reported to the Manchester Taxi Licencing department for failing to wear an ID at the time.The post was shared on social media by NW Motorway Police where it attracted more than 1300 reactions and 600 comments.
Many were sickened by the act, one man commenting on the post said he’d “rather walk than give them my money”. Another said it was “probably not the first time”.
