US President Donald Trump has announced plans to ban flavoured e-cigarettes in a bid to curb the trend.

The US Food and Drug Administration is preparing to ban all non-tobacco flavoured e-cigarettes until their safety has been reviewed.

At least 450 people in America have been hospitalised due to lung diseases linked to vaping and e-cigarettes. Six of them have since died. Image: News Corp Australia
