One of Australia's leading health experts says the review into the origins of COVID-19 can be put on hold until the immediate threat of COVID-19 recedes.

One of Australia's leading health experts says the review into the origins of COVID-19 can be put on hold until the immediate threat of COVID-19 recedes. Jane Holden, part of the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovation said authorities are more concerned with savings and it is not appropriate "to burden" heath authorities with establishing an investigation.

There will be an independent investigation into the novel pathogen after the World Health Assembly passed a motion calling for the establishment of "comprehensive, independent and impartial" probe into the how the pandemic began and the international health response. The seven page document does not give a timeline for when the inquiry would commence, only that is should take place "at the earliest opportunity".

Another CCP supporter ? Why would you even say that, the time is now !

Well it looks like Jane Holden has just secured her ongoing funding for helping to stall an investigation. I'm sure she will be kowtowing at her ccp handler's feet. Investigate now and don't give the ccp more time to cover things up.

Everyone should see this...

Did they get the call from Bill Gates?

Gee i wonder if the UN Agenda is pushing Australia to do this 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Are you f$$ kidding me? again, did you say scientist? I doubt it unless China has paid for that sort of research.

Coronavirus has spared American children. The flu has killed 144 kids so far this season.

Most U.S. States Reopening as Coronavirus Cases Decline

Yeah, because evidence is easier to find after a lot of time has passed.

The 'investigation' will be a wholly redundant gesture, even if it happens. There will be some ineffectual faffing, some opaque 'debate', some inconclusive, deliberately vague finding, and then down Orwell's Memory Hole it will all go. China smirks for a reason.

why not investigate USA?

CCP wants to know where to mail the cheque

'Saving lives'. Who's lives? The same lives that are claimed by the flu? Something we have a 'vaccine' for? If you're going to carry water for China, at least try a little harder to cover it.

Ridiculous!!! Its not a scientific but political statement. Pathogenesis studies would shed important light on nature of pathogen itself. Holding it in abeyance would amount to crippling of world's efforts in fighting the pandemic. Science is about information, more the better.

That’s funnny because I thought finding out how something starts would help you figure out how to stop it.

one of Australia’s leading health experts..Who exactly?

Which threat might that be? The threat of what is essentially the flu? Where do we find this 'pandemic' we hear so much about?

No.. get started with the investigation now. The loss of face to the Chinese is huge. They don’t like to look foolish so push ahead with the investigation.

Except the immediate threat is china, so no! The investigation can not, and should not wait. Waiting left the world struggling with not only the loss of lives, but the economic repercussions that will see many nation's struggle for years to come. chinaliedpeopledied fuckchina

matthewhayden I disagree, strongly. An investigation needs to happen to understand the virus that is being fought. All that evidence is in CHI-NA

Something tells me that it's gonna be a long while before our so-called 'health experts' say the threat has receded. Don't they keep saying this is the NewNormal?

What threat? The only threat at this stage is poverty! FakePandemic

WHO 'not equipped' to conduct COVID inquiry | Sky News AustraliaSky News contributor Cam Stewart says the World Health Organisation is “clearly not well equipped to make this sort of inquiry” because of its close ties with China. \n\nChinese President Xi Jinping has announced that he will only allow an independent inquiry if it is conducted by the WHO. \n\nMr Stewart told Sky News allowing the WHO to conduct the inquiry might be the “only choice” if China was to cooperate. \n\nHe said the Trump administration was scathing of the close relationship between China and the WHO and was pushing the international body to reaffirm its independence. \n\n“I guess one can only hope that the pressure which the US and Australia and other countries around the world are putting on the WHO, will make them lift their game because it doesn’t seem like the Chinese would let anyone else in apart from the WHO,” he said. \n\nImage: AP China “agreeing” to an “investigation” by WHO is a joke and shows the need for a new, truly international, non-exclusive health body that is not China Centric. Australia won't retaliate against barley tariff: Littleproud | Sky News AustraliaAustralia will not retaliate against China for imposing crippling tariffs on barley imports as a “trade war benefits nobody”, Agriculture Minister David Littleproud says. \n\nChina on Monday evening announced it would follow through on a threat to slap an 80 per cent tariff on Australian barley in a move that fanned trade tensions between the two nations. \n\nBeijing claimed the tariffs had nothing to do with Canberra’s push for an inquiry into the origins of COVID-19 and instead said they were due to concerns Australian farmers were dumping barley in their market below market value.\n\nSpeaking with Sky News, Mr Littleproud said the decision was a “real kick in the guts” but insisted the Morrison Government would not retaliate. \n\n“A trade war benefits nobody. You only have to see what happened between the US and China. There is no need for a trade war, we can work through in a fair marketplace, we produce the best food and fibre in the world,” he said. \n\n“We won’t be retaliating that, that won’t advance not only agriculture, it won’t advance any of our sectors. We will keep to our principles, that is what the Australian government does.” \n\nThe government is likely to appeal the decision to the World Trade Organisation but in the meantime, the Agriculture Minister said officials were working “feverishly” to find another market for the next round of crops. \n\n“We will continue to work with the Chinese to try and get them to understand Australian farmers are not subsidised and then subsequently dump barley into their market,” he said. \n\n“That’s what we’re working feverishly on now (to find another market) ... We have got some time, we have got some barley that won’t come up until October\u002FNovember.”\n D_LittleproudMP Cuck. D_LittleproudMP Cucked. D_LittleproudMP When the USA steal Barley trade. Australia to 'appeal, not retaliate' against China's crippling barley tariffs | Sky News AustraliaAustralia is poised to appeal a decision by China to impose 80 per cent tariffs on barley producers. \n\nChina accused Australian producers of dumping barley into its market below value – an accusation Australia vehemently denies. \n\nAustralia’s Trade Minister Simon Birmingham issued a statement saying “Australia is deeply disappointed with China’s decision” and “we reject the basis of this decision and will be assessing the details of the findings while we consider next steps”. \n\nAgriculture Minister David Littleproud said the government had no intention of retaliating with tariffs of its own, insisting Australia had no interest in a trade war. \n\nMeanwhile, China has offered its conditional support for an independent inquiry into the origins of COVID-19, insisting the review should only get underway once the pandemic was over. \n\nChinese President Xi Jinping pledged AU$3.1 billion to support the “comprehensive evaluation” of the pandemic and insisted China had “always had an open, transparent and responsible attitude'. \n\nAustralia’s Health Minister Greg Hunt said “we need to learn the lessons from this pandemic so we can ensure we have the strongest possible global health architecture with an enhanced ability to prevent and respond to future outbreaks”. \n\nImage: Getty\n Let em starve then. When they run out of food -we can LAUGH at China for being Fuckwits. Good luck with that....and .....
