Thousands of protesters have rallied across Egypt demanding the resignation of the country's President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.
The rallies are in response to corruption allegations against President Sisi's government, after an online call to a dissent from a prominent Egyptian actor. The president has dismissed the corruption claims as "lies and slander". President Sisi has ruled Egypt since 2013 - after leading the military coup against the country's first democratically elected president, Mohammad Morsi.
