Graeme Jarrett Vickerstaff, 47, was initially charged with murder, along with Colin Maxwell Booth, 33, and Dean Phillip Welsh, 49.after being beaten with a baseball bat.In the ACT Supreme Court today, Vickerstaff, after taking instructions from his solicitor, became the third man to plead guilty to manslaughter over Mr Allan's death.

A lengthy trial had been scheduled to begin this month but, now that all defendants have pleaded guilty, no trials will be held. The statement of facts tendered to court said Vickerstaff had sprayed Mr Allan in the face with engine degreaser and struck him with the bat as he answered the door. Mr Allan then fled while the trio ransacked his home and stole his belongings, including a phone and his bank cards.
