Magic Round is set to remain in Brisbane until at least 2027, with the Queensland capital beating out several bids from other cities.

Although they screwed us on price and weren’t the highest bidder, we had no option because there’s only one Caxton Street,” V’landys quipped.
“It’s a very good investment for the Queensland Government. It’s not just about Magic round. It’s about business and about commercial return.When asked which other cities bid for Magic Round, V’landys preferred to keep that information confidential. “I think I should leave that in confidence because no one likes losing so I don’t want to announce that,” he said.
