Prime Minister Scott Morrison called today's Qantas job cuts 'heartbreaking', but for the flying kangaroo's proud workforce, it was gut-wrenching. 9News

I think that would be a lesson that all the quarantine arrangements in place around the country need to learn from and it just means that you need constant vigilance. This is a wake- up call but it's not something that is unexpected. We've had the ADF involved in the COVID response for many months now and they have been in many states.

I think that would be unfair and that's why I think we've got to get a bit of perspective on this. The cases that are there are real and obviously it is concerning to see community transmission take place. Let's talk Qantas and 6000 staff, many of whom live in your electorate, as their leader how do you ease their pain?

Qantas is a family and there is such a level of pride in people working there and putting that uniform on regardless of what role you play. I was at Qantas just as COVID-19 was escalating and I went down there to thank the staff for the amazing work they did in getting Australians out of Wuhan in China. That is their nature, they always turn up.

Ten years since Australia got its first female prime minister, how diverse is its parliament? On 24 June 2010, Julia Gillard was sworn in as Australia’s 27th – and first female – prime minister. But a decade on, gender equality in politics has some way to go. Equality of outcome. Blame the female voters then. Why is that Asian woman making a black power fist? Absolutely!!

Letter to the Prime Minister to be discussed during Albanese's press club speechFederal Opposition leader Anthony Albanese will urge the Coalition to work with Labor on a bipartisan energy policy when he sets out his 'vision statements' to the National Press Club, arguing the two parties do not need to agree on emissions targets to make progress. Poor 26% Albo, using TheirABC to try and remain relevant. If Labor drop the psychotic authoritarian left crap with a bit more objectivity i'd agree. But until Labor actually reign in the far left psychos i don't think they should. I'm tired of female ministers not governing for their constituents as a whole. Its your job. Do it. 1Swinging_Voter 🤣
