Federal Opposition leader Anthony Albanese has urged the Coalition to work with Labor on a bipartisan energy policy, arguing the two sides do not need to agree on emissions targets to make progress.

Mr Albanese said Labor would not push for a specific model for an investment framework and was not calling for a return to the National Energy Guarantee , dumped by the Coalition in the wake of Malcolm Turnbull's downfall, or the Clean Energy Target. The Labor leader said his party would support the development of carbon capture and storage , which involves capturing carbon dioxide and burying it deep underground.Loading...

AlboMP ScottMorrisonMP please don’t let the critics force you back to yesterday’s culture of partisan politics. More people than you know want to see that end. I applaud and deeply respect efforts to work together for all Australians and not let the ‘perfect’ stop the good.

Has anyone given Albo the news that Labor lost the last election & hence are not in govt?

1Swinging_Voter 🤣

If Labor drop the psychotic authoritarian left crap with a bit more objectivity i'd agree. But until Labor actually reign in the far left psychos i don't think they should. I'm tired of female ministers not governing for their constituents as a whole. Its your job. Do it.

Poor 26% Albo, using TheirABC to try and remain relevant.
