Perth and Peel enter three-day lockdown over Anzac Day weekend | Sky News AustraliaMetropolitan Perth and the neighbouring Peel region are entering a three-day lockdown after two positive cases were found to be in the community for a week.\n\nThe first case contracted the virus in the state's hotel quarantine.\n\nThe lockdown will see Anzac Day services cancelled but a Saturday night AFL Game will go ahead, without fans.\n\nStates and territories across the nation have introduced restrictions on travellers from the Perth and Peel regions.\n\nAnyone from Perth or the Peel region travelling to Queensland or New South Wales will be required to comply with WA's lockdown measures and tested for COVID-19. \n\nIn South Australia, anyone who has visited any of the WA exposure sites should be tested for coronavirus and isolate until a negative result is received.\n\nFor WA visitors entering the Northern Territory anyone who has arrived from Perth or the Peel region since April 17, will need to receive a COVID-19 test and self-isolate until they return a negative result.\n\n Here we go. Vaccine rollout is not going to keep pace with the opening of international flights in. Hotels not designed, built or staffed for infectious disease control. Another disaster in the making.
