Major roads in the Sydney CBD will be closed between 2am and 4pm on Sunday. You can check the closures on the day atAccessible drop-off and pick-up zones for guests will be located at Wynyard Street, southern side and the corner of 28 Castlereagh Street and Martin Place .

Travel on public transport is free for current and former members of the Australian Defence Force and their families. “This also includes their carers; and the spouses, children and grandchildren of deceased service personnel; and the spouses, children and grandchildren of living war veterans,”“Free travel recipients are required to wear the Australian Defence uniform; or display service medals; or carry a letter of accreditation on the letterhead of a branch of the RSL or other recognised ex-services organisation; or present a war widow’s gold card.

QR codes will be located to scan at the exit of key train stations and light rail stops in the CBD for attendees to register their travel and to assist with COVID-19 contact tracing if required.Eased COVID-19 restrictions mean the time-honoured tradition of playing two-up at pubs and clubs on Anzac Day is back.

Some pubs and clubs are choosing not to hold two-up competitions due to social distancing requirements. However, according to NSW Health, it is allowed if the venues’ COVID restrictions are followed.The Australian Heritage Hotel, The Rocks
