Sky News host Gary_Hardgrave says the self-importance of heartless state premiers across Australia is destroying the lives of many people.

Sky News host Gary Hardgrave says the self-importance of heartless state premiers across Australia is destroying the lives of many people.

“I’m a pretty upbeat person and I remain optimistic, but it’s very frustrating watching the political class make just so many mistakes and act constantly in favour of their own self-importance,” Mr Hardgrave said. “It’s about the job you do, not the job you have. “There’s a few in power in state governments that are just simply ruining so many lives.”

No wonder Australia is in strife when politicians listen to ‘alarmist clowns’: Kenny | Sky News AustraliaSky News host Chris Kenny says rampant incompetence along with “ridiculous fearmongering” about the virus has led to the overreaction by the states which has done extraordinary damage to society. \n\nMr Kenny said the fearmongering rife throughout the whole pandemic has not been limited to politicians and bureaucrats. \n\n“Once a fear merchant, always a fear merchant, Tim Flannery, has popped out to re-run his climate alarmism complete with a new virus angle,” he said. \n\nMr Flannery – who previously claimed dams in NSW would never see rain again – has recently spoken about “unprecedented, climate-fuelled megafires that were extinguished in February by damaging, climate-influenced floods”. \n\nHowever, Mr Flannery has now taken his “fearmongering” to include the virus where he links it to the aforementioned crises through the “great aerial ocean,” according to Mr Kenny. \n\n“The coronavirus also travels unseen through the great aerial ocean, insinuating itself in lung after lung, killing person after person, until it threatens our health system, economy and society,” he said.\n\n“There you go climate alarmist, and virus alarmism, all of a muchness to Tim. \n\n“It is a scary world out there, if global warming doesn’t get you, the virus will. \n\n“Some politicians listen to these clowns, no wonder the country is in strife.” \n\nImage: Getty Says an alarmist clown on sky Extra damage by saving lives?

Australia must ‘build first’ before opening the doors to more migration | Sky News AustraliaSky News host Peta Credlin says before Australia throws open the doors to migrants after the pandemic, there should be strong consideration on the “right values that we should all share” and the right facilities we all need.\n\n“With so much of normal life restricted, supposedly for our own good during the pandemic, thank God at least one part of government is still focussed on our freedoms,” Ms Credlin said.\n\nActing Immigration Minister Alan Tudge has just released a new version of the citizenship test designed to ensure new Australians understand and appreciate modern Australian values.\n\n“We can't be a cohesive community without adherence to the law, respect for our institutions, pride in our past, hope for our future, and affection and esteem for our fellow Australians,” Ms Credlin said.\n\n“The Australian experience is about people coming to a new land, wanting more freedom to live their lives, and being prepared to work hard to get ahead.\n\n“Especially now, with Melbourne surrounded by a 'ring of steel', in case someone tries to escape, it's timely we should remember that, and celebrate it”.\n\nHowever, Ms Credlin said the right economic considerations should be made, not just the “lazy economics” of higher immigration equals higher GDP growth.\n\n“Integrating migrants doesn't just mean inculcating the right values that we all should share; it also means building the right facilities that we all will need,” she said.\n\n“Before our population grows by another 15 per cent in a decade, we really should insist on building the water, power and transport infrastructure needed for everyone who's already here to keep their quality of life.\n\n“Build it first, then open the doors.”\n Oh fark off. In other words, let’s bring them in as long as they’re white anglos. Like drunk driving followed by rampant string pulling? Is that the sort of values we should all share? Ahh WhiteAustralia is that what you want DogBotherer

New South Wales-Victoria border residents allowed free access across state line | Sky News AustraliaPeople living in the border zone between the New South Wales and Victoria border will soon be able to cross into NSW for any reason. \n\nNSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard announced that from Friday the four essential reasons for Victorians living in the border bubble to cross into NSW – including education, health, employment and care – would be removed. \n\n“So now people can go to their favourite restaurants, go to their favourite clubs, do whatever they want to do,” he said. \n\nMr Hazzard urged people to cooperate with the government and continue getting tested where any symptoms present themselves. \n\n“As long as that continues and as long as people take those precautions, then looking forward is very positive for our Albury-Wodonga area [and] for the entire border, from the Pacific to the border with South Australia,” he said. \n\nImage: News Corp Australia \n\n Covid19 CCPVirus Whistleblowermovement What is behind this pandemic? Undecided voters key to crucial swing state: Annelise Nielsen in Rochester, Minnesota | Sky News AustraliaOfficially ticking over one month in the US I’ve now been to Wisconsin, North Carolina, West Virginia, Ohio and Minnesota. It’s been a lot of time on the ground asking people the same few questions.\n\nWhen you’re approaching a stranger to pick their mind about politics you can’t come in swinging asking who they’re voting for. Most people will find it a big confronting and clam up, or will lie to you and tell you what you think they want to hear.\n\nOnce I’ve built a bit of rapport with some small talk I’ll usually edge into asking people what their number one issue is this election. It’s an interesting way to get some perspective on what the issues are.\n\nFor the most part the most enthusiastic voters are either frustrated at President Donald Trump’s handling of the coronavirus and want to see him out. Or they’re worried about law and order and want to vote him back in.\n\nMy other favourite question to ask is if the person is actually planning on voting. In a country where just over half the population actually votes, enthusiasm levels matter. Lower voter turnout tends to hurt the Democrats more too, and the more voters I hear that are burnt out on politics are also a bit iffy regarding Joe Biden’s age. It begs the question of whether they’ll get their ballots in.\n DEMOCRATS = SOCIALISM 2020Election Trump2020LandslideVictory lesser of 2 evils...lol...so what did the media missed so far and not telling us of the evil of joe..as they busy only bashing trump.
