During the final days of the Voice referendum campaign Prime Minister Anthony Albanese met with elders at Uluru.
At the ceremony he was presented with a copy of the Uluru statement from the heart - the document which triggered Saturday’s vote on whether to enshrine a Voice to parliament in the constitution. He called on voters to push forward with Indigenous reconciliation. “I’m confident, when people focus on what this referendum is about, that we can have a successful outcome on Saturday,” he said.
But the polls don’t agree.
