The 'Aussie' dad facing deportation

How quickly some people on here saying it's his fault. We are a nation of mixed races who used to claim to anyone that would listen how their family came on the first fleet, as convicts. These laws Dutton passed, while being illegible, apply to any and everyone. Remember that.

He's done his time for his previous offences and has been confined for the last 6 months. Having regard to his personal circumstances including his family, surely there's a way the fellow could be released with notice that if he again breaks the law in any way he's out.

Bit hard to have sympathy when he couldnt be bothered sorting his citizenship out...should have thought about that before being thrown in jail twice..

tough break... only problem is..The Law.. why didnt he just become a citizen. we have a neighbor in the same (farm 3 kids) situation.. but he this time got caught with drugs and guns... everyone was happy..no more trouble.. this guy is a saint compared to kiwi..

This is unfortunate. Yes, he has been in trouble with the law, but he served his time. No, he doesn't have citizenship, but his parents are Aussie and he's lived here since he was a baby. Legally, he might not have a right to stay, but compassion urges me to hope he can.

I notice they don't even say why he was in prison the second time. Now that it's his turn to have something happen he doesn't like he cries victim. Did his victims get a choice in what happened to them?

Mr Feetham spent two years behind bars in 2004 and 2006 for a drunken assault and driving charges and another two years in prison between 2012 and 2014. Model citizen. 🙄
