LOL -Bushfires are NORMAL and happen EVERY YEAR... We live in Australia guys... Some Species of Trees REQUIRE Bushfires to survive.

After last summers fires, it was considered desirable, that we took seriously the manner in which indigenous Australians prevented large scale fires! And here we go again, tone deaf, or brain dead We just don't listen to 60,000 years of experience!!

What bullshit. This is the same as 20 years ago, in those days everything burnt and no one gave a shit, now it's all a big drama with lots of unnecessary money being spent.

No cultural burning?

Are the aboriginals not doing traditional whateveryacallits ?

If you object to vaccines on aborted cell grounds you basically have to kiss goodbye to most medical research from the 1930s onwards. Aborted cells are the gold standard for research and there is no close second. That photo tho What.....vaccine polio now the problem!

'Sacrificial lambs': Volunteer firefighters fear for lives in 20-year-old truckFrontline firefighters urge the NSW Rural Fire Service to fast-track upgrades to equipment and communications which were revealed by last season's bushfires to have potentially deadly failures. I agree, start with more bulldozers to create a lot of decent size fire trails and fire breaks. More planes would also be good. Didn't the NSW Rural Fire Service get all that money from someone who raised a ton of funds for relief? I think there was a Supreme Court hearing that decided it MUST go to Rural Fire Service. Spotted about 30+ new Mercedes Rural fire trucks ready to roll out in NSW. And that's just from one dealership. Older trucks getting auctioned off. Money is moving, upgrades are coming. FakeNews?

'Expect worse': NSW fire inquiry backs limited use of controlled burnsNSW must prepare for similar or worse years in the future as the climate continues to warm, with increased hazard-reduction burning offering only limited help, the NSW Bushfire Inquiry has found. p_hannam Hazard reduction burning the way the CFS do it is dangerous and causes over 40% of all bushfire and brush fires. It is astounding they have yet to learn anything from the Aboriginals on burn offs p_hannam Damned if you do and damned if you don't p_hannam The bushfire inquiry is as dumb as the nsw government. If Aboriginal people had control of back burning for the next ten years we would have fewer fires. Rural fire service are useless and don't know what they are doing when it comes to back burning.
