The man accused of murdering a woman in Sydney's CBD during a stabbing rampage in August has been charged with new offences relating to drugs and child abuse material.His alleged stabbing rampage through the Sydney CBD put the area into lockdown and ended in a citizen's arrest

Mert Ney, 20, was detained by members of the public on August 13 as a major police operation placed the heart of the city into lockdown.Police later discovered the body of 24-year-old Michaela Dunn in a Clarence Street apartment.Mr Ney appeared via video link in Central Local Court this morning smiling occasionally and wearing prison greens.

Outside court, Mr Ney's lawyer Zemarai Khatiz said the child abuse material was found on a USB drive and his client denied possessing it.
