While the fireworks will go ahead, they can no longer be watched from the foreshore unless a person has a restaurant or hospitality booking with a good vantage point – and a permit from Service NSW to get into the city. Who's putting money on the lord mayors elitist harbour soiree going ahead

So only those who can afford expensive harbour dining options can enjoy the fireworks in situ. 🤨 If 100s of restaurants can be made “Covid-safe”, frontline workers could also have a ticketed event. There is just zero political will to do so.

Blah blah blah blah Hows ruperts minions today?

Interesting safe liberal seats are treated like this why didn’t the swing seats of South Western Sydney get locked down crossroads GladysB BradHazzard RobStokesMP is quiet! Quarantine exemptions anyoneFucking wrong ben_hand drballso

If this “virus” is that bad then cancel the stupid fireworks altogether.

Sydney's NYE celebrations on tenterhooks | Sky News AustraliaNew Years Eve celebrations are on tenterhooks in New South Wales amid the threat of a COVID-19 spread.\n\nPremier Gladys Berejiklian said fireworks would take place at midnight on New Year’s Eve, but urged people to watch the show from home. \n\nMany of the foreshore areas have been classified as ticketed areas and will only be open to residents, restaurant workers and emergency service workers. \n\nAreas surrounding those immediate foreshores will be classified as yellow zones and will be monitored by police.\n\nOn Sunday, New South Wales recorded seven new locally acquired cases of COVID-19 taking the Avalon cluster to 122.\n If only there was a way people could watch these celebrations from the comfort of their own home ... What’s the bet the barricades are to close the parks altogether. Sorry but NYE’s will be cancelled. With GladysB telling all to go get tested and again and again, what does that tell you? Gladys too is a NWO globalist puppet.

NSW records five new coronavirus cases linked to the Northern Beaches as NYE restrictions revealedBreaking New South Wales has recorded five new locally acquired coronavirus cases, with all five linked to the growing cluster on the Northern Beaches which now involves about 127 cases. Sydney get rid of this incompetant called Premier, once and for all.🤮 Numbers and percentages so consistently small they barely even need reporting anymore. Media and other organisations so completely dependent on the engagement that peddling fear and hysteria brings them we are unlikely to ever see it die down.

No easing of restrictions in Greater Sydney ahead of NYE | Sky News AustraliaNew South Wales Premier Gladys Berejiklian has announced no changes will be made to restrictions within Greater Sydney ahead of New Year’s celebrations. \n\nHouseholds will still only be allowed to accept up to 10 visitors – including children. \n\nAllocated spots for frontline workers along Sydney Harbour – to watch the New Year’s Eve fireworks display – have also been cancelled as health authorities deemed the event too great a health risk. \n\nPeople will be allowed to keep their bookings in hospitality venues in Sydney’s CBD – on the proviso the four square metre rule is in place, and a permit is issued from Service NSW. \n\n“Those restrictions that apply for broader Sydney apply for the CBD obviously on New Year’s Eve as well, so unless you have a permit to go to someone’s home of not more than 10 people, or you have a permit from Service NSW to attend a hospitality venue, no one should be in the CBD at all,' Ms Berejiklian said. \n\n“All of us, no matter where we are in NSW, or Australia, or the world for that matter can enjoy the seven minute display from home, and that is the safest way this year to enjoy the fireworks.' \n\nNSW recorded five new cases of community transmission overnight – all on the Northern Beaches and all linked to the Avalon cluster. \n\n\n Reduced size of gatherings in parks DOWN from 100 to 50? *pheew* .. luckily the people have the power to overturn that. If you still obey, you're part of the problem. CELEBRATE TO THE MAX !! Because, gosh darn it, getting COVID from a stranger at a superspreader event is about the friends we make along the way.

Sydney's NYE fireworks to be a short, seven-minute display | Sky News AustraliaSydney’s New Year’s Eve fireworks will go ahead as a short, seven minute display, but watching from the foreshore will be off limits.\n\nImmediate foreshore areas were going to be sectioned off on New Year's Eve exclusively for frontline workers to thank them for their service, however NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian announced on Monday that would no longer be the case. \n\n“On New Year’s Eve we don’t want any crowds on the forehorse whatsoever,” Ms Berejikilan said. \n\nThe premier revealed only owners of waterfront properties or their visitors were allowed to access the immediate waterfront areas. \n\nShe clarified anyone entering the area would need a special permit from Services New South Wales.\n\n It’s such a smart virus - highly virulent in parks, gym, churches, schools, gym & beaches but NO effect on supermarket/big Corp workers ONLY small biz owners About controlling whole of life Anything fun? Targeted People’s liberties? Targeted Curfews with NO medical rationale Fucking joke it’s a waste of money Well why not just replay last years display?. This world is bonkers.
