Snow has fallen in South Australia's Flinders Ranges.

Clear skies, light winds, lingering cold air and a snow-covered ground all helped temperatures plummet across Tasmania's central highlands overnight.Today's snow event follows consecutive days of ice-cold temperatures with the town of Keith recording its lowest temperature on record yesterday. Keith, in the state's south-east, dipped to -4.7 degrees Celsius just before 5.15am — a record low for the town.

Meanwhile, Tasmanian's woke to record-breaking lows with the state recording its lowest temperature on record. Liawenee broke Tasmania's minimum temperature record this morning, reaching a bone-chilling -14.2C just after 6am.Snow has fallen in South Australia's Flinders Ranges.
