‘Slow-witted Biden’ is ‘watching while Trump digs his own grave’ | Sky News Australia

US Journalist Daniel Lazare says Donald Trump is “heading for disaster” because “we’ve never seen the kind of incompetence that we are seeing out of the White House”. “Trump makes fun of face masks, he scorns social distancing and as a consequence, the disease is spreading like wildfire and is causing immense political problems,” Mr Lazare told Sky News on Saturday. “I don’t frankly know how he can possibly dig his way out of the hole that he has made for himself.

“I think that Biden’s strategy is to say as little as possible and to remain in his basement, not go outside and not get himself into trouble because the instant he opens his mouth, trouble happens,” he said. “So, Biden figures the less he says the better, and he’s just watching while Trump digs his own grave.” Mr Lazare predicted “as things stand now, I think Biden’s got it in a walk, but a lot can happen in four months”.
