Footage apparently shot by security cameras and posted on social media shows the truck gradually settling into the hole while people nearby scramble for safety.

A bus has plunged through a collapsed section of road in north-western China, killing at least six people, authorities said.

Some 1,000 emergency workers and 30 vehicles were sent to the site, the emergency management bureau in the city of Xining said. Footage apparently shot by security cameras and posted on social media showed the truck gradually settling into the hole while people nearby scrambled for safety. The collapse Monday afternoon left 16 people in the hospital. The bureau said the bus had been raised from the collapsed 80-square-metre section into which it had fallen.

Footage posted online showed the bus tipped halfway into the chasm that had opened up at a bus stop just outside a health clinic.

Fury over 'totally unacceptable' response after 32 horses found dead on property west of ToowoombaPhotos provided to the ABC by the head of an animal rescue organisation show dead horses and others that appear to be in a severely underfed state on a property west of Toowoomba. First paragraph, first photo. Enough for me. THROW THE BOOK AT HIM. And give him a lifetime ban from him ever owning animals. Public shaming is well deserved in this instance. How are acts of cruelty against animals not worthy of jail time? Fucking racing industry.

There are not many chances of saving for a deposit while paying the landlords' investment properties. 1. Those same “we can’t afford to buy” people who live with their parents don’t shy away from overseas trips however 🤔 2. “Dead money” aside you can’t earn interest on savings so investing is riskier 3. Don’t buy and you won’t own your home when you are older which is HUGE
