Single people are suffering with a post-iso problem that couples aren’t, experts warn. Luckily there’s a simple fix to the widespread “deprivation”.

As I was lying there having my face, neck and arms blissfully massaged and buffed, the skincare specialist slid her arm under my shoulders and sort of embraced me in a hug. Instantly I was hit with a wave of a confusion that was hid underneath the cucumber scented hot towel currently placed over my eyes. Then it dawned on me why this beauty therapist’s relaxation technique felt so bloody strange – it was because I’d not had any physical contact with another person in months.

In fact, the lack of human interaction during COVID is something experts have dubbed “touch deprivation” and “skin hunger”., Dr Vivienne Lewis, a clinical psychologist at the University of Canberra, recently revealed. Not only have I have I had fully rebooted skin, but I’ve felt recharged as a person, “normal” even. I have also found an unexpected new value in a self-care habit I already adored but often struggled to justify because of my finances.

Far flung tropical destinations such as Hamilton Island aren't expected to recover until overseas travel resumes in 2021. Victorians would otherwise be flocking to QLD right now but the ABC and her pals decided that protesting arm in arm about a random guy's death in the USA was a great idea -in the middle of the quarantine. We are the enemy to the Globalist and they are fking with us 100%. Analysts unsure of where 'hanging by fingernails' sits in the struggling superlative spectrum. 'People lining up': Historic Murray River vessels steam back to lifeFor more than 140 years paddle steamers have traversed the Murray River, but coronavirus stopped the big wheels turning for the longest time in their history. No thanks, they have a slave type of feel to them. Cancel. The river is technically in NSW, not Victoria, so will NSW police be on board to check for Covid-19 illegals? Yep. Look what we have right in our back yard. All aboard people!! 🚣

Why 'headphone culture' is making young people deaf to health warningsExperts say we need to turn the volume down and protect our ears before it's too late. But few are listening. At least if they are on wi-fi perhaps the Announcements can interject, similar to tunnels and car radios? My ears ring after 2 hours in a car for years. Last year when really sick for months with something like Covid I had an experience of explosive tinnitus spontaneously when I was asleep one night. Afterwards I had days of noise loud as jackhammer in my head. Still not much better

How people are helping Victorian housing tower residents under stay-at-home ordersAbout 3,000 residents in nine Melbourne public housing towers will stay in their units for the next five days. This is how the community is making their life a little easier. I help every pay day....... called 'my taxes' ffs Maybe don't vote for Dan anymore. Hopelessly out of his depth. The only 'help' needed is to cease the disgraceful lockdown and unjustified, discriminatory victimization of people from low socioeconomic background.
